This CD-ROM presents the physical principles of ultrasound in a dynamic and interactive format that enhances comprehension. A Primer in Ultrasound Physics provides six hours of narrated presentations in PowerPoint format using an abundance of animations, images, and analogies to explain complicated concepts. The presentations follow the content outline of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) examination on ultrasound physics and instrumentation and offer excellent preparation for the exam. Also included is a self-tester CD-ROM containing over 600 questions. After each lesson, the student is asked to take a self-test before continuing.
