MEET THE AUTHOR

Ismail (Issy) Laher, Ph.D., is a Professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver,Canada. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Vermont, USA.  Trained at the University of London in pharmacology, he then continued with additional training in cardiovascular pharmacology at UBC and UVM, with a focus on the regulation of resistance artery regulation in health and disease.
