The authors have selected 800 pictures that capture the pre- and post-operative photos of the patients. The images have been matched to their medical records (operative reports and evaluations) brought by Cushing from Brigham to Yale. The first section will include Cushing's own pictures during surgery, and the second section will include the patients' pictures and records.
